Robinson Rose Wealth Management Ltd is headed by Chartered Financial Planners Jan Robinson and Joe Rose. Both are highly regarded and experienced advisers with over twenty years each in the industry. After working together in the renowned Stockport based firm Prest Financial Planning, the pair decided to establish their own client focussed wealth management business to provide, tailored independent advice with an individual and friendly approach. Jan and Joe are supported by an experienced team who keep administration matters running smoothly.
I have been working in the financial planning industry since 1999 and advising clients since 2003, providing both individual and corporate advice.
My Chartered Financial Planner status, which I attained in 2014, demonstrates my commitment to the highest standards of professionalism and ethics in the financial planning industry. I advise on all aspects of financial planning including pensions, investments and inheritance tax planning, as well as addressing protection needs, whilst also using cash flow modelling to provide comprehensive and focussed short, medium and long-term financial plans and solutions to help clients achieve their goals and secure their financial future.
My focus has always been on building long-term relationships with clients based on trust, transparency, and a personable approach to ensure the best outcome for my clients resulting in a financial plan that suits their individual needs and circumstances. Joe and I have worked alongside each other since 2015 and at Robinson Rose, we have created a team where the client is at the centre of everything we do and believe in.
I also work alongside fellow professionals, predominantly Accountants, to ensure our clients receive expert advice on all areas of their financial needs.
To relax I enjoy spending time with my wife, Debbie, and our two children, Penny and Theo, and I have a keen interest in golf, padel and football.
After completing my Economics degree in 2001, I moved into advising clients in financial services, since then I have always been dedicated to achieving the best possible outcome for my clients. 2023 marks the ten year anniversary of achieving Chartered Status, in 2016 I became a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society, the same year I added SOLLA Accreditation and in 2019 I obtained the STEP Certificate in Financial Services with Distinction.
My career has given me experience of working in various environments and my overarching conclusion is that the best advice a client can receive is from a client focussed, friendly and completely independent business that treats its clients as though they are family, and having worked together since 2015, this is what myself and Jan Robinson set out to achieve. All the team here at Robinson Rose have a shared vision of a firm where the client is at the centre of every decision we make.
I am a Chartered Financial Planner and can help clients in many areas, including cash flow planning, investment, retirement planning, estate planning, care fees planning, equity release and protection. I work with both individuals and businesses, and we are regularly instructed by lawyers to provide independent financial reports for deputies and attorneys and we are always looking to develop relationships in this area.
Outside of work I love spending time with my wife, Maxine and our three children, I also enjoy walks, tennis, and golf.
After completing my Business Management degree in 2014, I moved into financial services initially providing technical, analytical and administration support to Financial Planners. I have been advising clients since 2018, working closely with both individual clients and businesses. Having known Jan and Joe since 2017, I’m delighted to have joined Robinson Rose where I can continue to work alongside likeminded people who put clients at the forefront of everything they do.
I’m proud of my status as a Chartered Financial Planner and Fellow of the Personal Finance Society and this demonstrates my ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest professional standards, values and ethics.
I advise clients on all aspects of financial planning matters including investments, retirement planning, estate planning and protection solutions.
My focus is to build long-term relationships, offering a friendly and client-focused approach. I’m a big advocate of utilising lifetime cash flow modelling as part of a wider financial plan, as this can help ‘paint a picture’ of how we can work towards achieving lifetime goals and aspirations.
Out of the office, I enjoy going to the gym, playing football and going on walks. I also love to travel with my wife, Jen.
I have worked in financial services for over 25 years in various roles beginning as a Junior IFA Administrator for a regional building society to most recently being a Paraplanner for a national IFA firm before becoming part of the team at Robinson Rose. I have obtained vast knowledge and experience throughout my roles over the years providing dedicated support to both clients and advisers which assisted me greatly when studying for and achieving my Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.
Outside of work I enjoy watching sport, in particular football, cricket and F1 and going on long walks with my husband and dog.
I have worked in the financial planning industry for over 30 years in various roles, but with one constant throughout, the client is at the heart of everything I do. I take pride in my work and enjoy building a relationship with clients.
My role within Robinson Rose is to be a dedicated point of contact for clients and to assist advisers in providing a personalised financial planning service.
When I am out of the office, my time is spent with my husband enjoying travelling, cinema, and meeting up with friends.
I’ve worked in Financial Services since leaving school in 2003, starting an apprenticeship within a local family run business. Having undertaken many roles along the way, such as administrative support and technical recommendations to Financial Planners, I began advising clients in 2018 and I am currently working towards my Chartered status with a view to attain this in the near future.
I met Jan many years ago at a previous firm and Joe in 2021, and I feel very fortunate to have joined Robinson Rose to be able to work alongside them both and other colleagues who have worked together for many years prior to them joining Robinson Rose.
I pride myself on building personable, long-standing relationships with clients across all areas of financial planning, including investment and retirement planning, offering protection advice and preserving wealth via estate planning solutions.
As a firm we believe in our approach to advice, with client’s needs and objectives at the heart of what we do, complimented by cash flow modelling to visually demonstrate how these needs can be attained over different time frames and for the next generations.
Out of the office I enjoy following Manchester United, keeping fit when time allows via playing football and running, but most of all spending time with my 2 young children.
After completing my degree in Business & Financial Management in 2016, I started my career in Financial Services, starting at a large Mutual Insurance Society dealing with Pensions and Life Insurance. In 2019 I made the move over to the Financial Planning Profession and I have held multiple roles within the industry. My experience has helped me gain a wide variety of knowledge, and in 2024 I obtained my Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning.
As a Chartered Financial Planner at Robinson Rose, I work directly with clients to understand their goals and build tailored financial planning strategies that support their long-term aspirations. I’m dedicated to providing clear, structured guidance while developing strong lasting relationships with the individuals and families I work with.
I have had the pleasure of working with the directors, Jan, and Joe, for several years, both at Robinson Rose and at a previous firm, which has given me a strong understanding of the firm’s approach and values.
In my spare time, I enjoy days out with my wife Chloe, our son Noah, and our Cavapoo Fred. I also spend a lot of time watching Manchester United, although that’s not always enjoyable.
I graduated from Lancaster University in 2019 with a degree in Economics and began my career in Financial Services shortly after, joining an Independent Financial Adviser firm in Hale. In 2024, I achieved my Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning and became a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society. I later joined Robinson Rose as a Chartered Paraplanner to further develop my technical knowledge and broaden my experience across a wide range of financial planning areas.
My role involves preparing detailed suitability reports, conducting investment research, and providing technical support to help deliver high-quality financial advice.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my girlfriend Molly, as well as running and playing football.
My Financial Services career began when I joined Barclays as a Team Leader, over 30 years ago, where I managed teams in various locations across the Northwest for just over 8 years. On leaving Barclays I gained further experience with GE Capital and Royal London.
Following redundancy from Royal London in 2013, I made the decision to work within the IFA industry and I haven’t looked back. Over the years have worked for large National IFA Firms which has provided me with a wealth of knowledge and experience regarding personal financial planning. However, I much prefer the direct client contact offered by working with smaller, local IFA Firms.
My role within Robinson Rose is to provide Financial Planning Support to our Financial Advice team and our clients. I enjoy building relationships with new and existing clients and take great care to ensure the customer is the focus of our communications throughout the advice process and beyond. As part of the Financial Planning Support team, I am a point of contact for client enquiries and I consult with providers daily on a range of issues, always striving to secure a timely response.
Outside of work, I enjoy long walks in the countryside, travelling, watching Rugby and socialising with family and friends.
I’ve been working in the Financial Planning industry for around seven years, supporting Financial Advisers and their clients. I really enjoy the variety that comes with the role and the opportunities to learn. Outside of work, I play on a netball team, love cooking (and eating out), enjoy travelling and dog walking – especially with family & friends.
I’ve worked in financial services for over seven years and enjoy supporting clients throughout their financial journey. I believe great service is built on strong relationships, approachability and ensuring every client feels valued.
Outside of work, I enjoy running with my local club as well as travelling, and spending time with family and friends.
